New Music From Nick Leng

Nick Leng’s debut LP, LEMONS, is set for release via SOTA Recordings on April 24. The full-length follows two EPs, Tunnels and Planes and Drivers, which have racked up millions of streams online and found widespread support from the likes of Consequence of Sound, Vogue, and Christian Dior. LEMONS represents the next stage in the South African-born, Los Angeles-based musical polymath’s journey, coming after an emotional breakup, an apartment fire and subsequent loss of a friend. The experience led him through wistfulness, isolation, and ultimately towards a renewal of spirit; sometimes, you must explore the most painful moments of your life to release your most inspiring contemplations about it.

The newest advance single from LEMONS is “Music To Clean The House To,” a wide scale, intricately crafted indie track which touches upon a variety of genres without nailing its mast to any, the track captures what is wonderful about Nick Leng. It’s included here in a servicing that also features the previous advance singles from the album: “Lemons,” “Ticking,” “Lonely Shade of Blue,” and “Plastic Moon,” which features rapper Chester Watson. Leng has also just announced that he’ll be touring North America in May and June supporting LP, and he’ll be playing the following dates in Los Angeles in advance of that tour:

3/11 – Madame Siam – Los Angeles, CA
3/15 – Los Angeles, CA – Club Tee Gee
3/27 – Winston House – Los Angeles, CA
4/30 – Moroccan Lounge – Los Angeles, CA
