Lido Pimienta, Among NPR’s Favorites of April, Has A Strong Week At Radio

Congratulations to Lido Pimienta, whose new album Miss Colombia made it on NPR Music‘s roundup of its favorite albums from April 2020. “The album examines violence and heartbreak,” writes Stefanie Fernández, “venerating Indigenous and Afro-Colombian land and art, both overshadowed by national identity.” Get the entire list here.

Pimienta also had a great week at radio, Hitting #1 at NACC Latin and #1 at Earshot.The album also made it to  #11 on the NACC Radio 200, #5 at NACC World, #9 on the NACC Non-Comm chart, and #2 on the NACC Canadian Chart.
