Dive Index Talks With VENTS And Shares An Interactive Video

VENTS Mag recently spoke with Will Thomas of Dive Index, whose Waving At Airplanes is at radio now. Dive Index recently released an experimental, interactive video for the song “Wish I Had a Pulse” featuring Natalie Walker (interact with it here – we recommend opening it in the Chrome browser). In the interview, Thomas explains the impetus behind the clip.

“The song is about a precarious A.I. relationship,” says Thomas, “so we thought developing an Interactive Music Video page would be an interesting way to experience the different elements of the song. We split them up into seven separate tracks so you can tweak the volume of each one and get a glimpse into how the song was built.  Also, the sliders manipulate the on-screen lyrics and Natalie Walker’s performance.  She’s become the machine!” Learn more about the video, and about the album itself, here.
