Slicing Up Eyeballs Shares The New Single From David Newton and Thee Mighty Angels

Slicing Up Eyeballs praises the “instantly memorable” chorus of “The Songs That Changed Our Lives,” the new single from the upcoming A Gateway To A Lifetime of Disappointment LP from David Newton and Thee Mighty Angels. The song’s verses feature Eddie Argos, the singer of Art Brut. According to Newton, who is an accomplished producer and was a member of The Mighty Lemon Drops and The Blue Aeroplanes, among others,  “It is basically a fun list of some of the songs that had a big impact on young me. I didn’t put too much thought into it really, it’s not a definitive list and there are so many missed out, I just picked the ones that rhymed.” Sometimes the best songs are the songs that come quickly, and this is apparently an example!
