Phil Elverum‘s music has always been deeply personal, which helps to explain why it inspires such personal responses. We’ve shared many long essays by fans of his work, from the achingly painful Mount Eerie albums A Crow Looked At Me and Now Only to last year’s epic, ruminative The Microphones in 2020.
