Ink19 Reviews The Silver Snails’ “Lovingly Constructed” Sophomore LP

In a review, Ink19 says “the songs on The Silver Snails‘ Speed of Light are lovingly constructed pop songs that remind me of later period XTC. The band has a fine command of song structure… it sounds good on headphones… Overall, Speed of Light reminds me of pop/prog projects like Asia.” The site pegs “A Flagrant Display of Magic,” which “comes on with a full choir vocal sounding like liturgical music for Jedi,” as well as “Faro de Amore” and “Gioia,” as a good place to start on the album. Check out the full review here.

Speed of Light is out now via Snailform records and made its debut on the NACC Top 200 this week.
