Tidal Exposes Black Nile

In a recent edition of Tidal’s Playlisters’ A-listers feature, Brad Farberman says that “The jazz track ‘Exposure’ has it all — funky ideas, traditional thoughts, even a nod to dub music. And they do it all subtly. Black Nile is fronted by brothers Aaron and Lawrence Shaw, on sax and bass respectively — they’ve low-ended for John Legend and given André 3000 music lessons. They’re from L.A., but their upcoming album, Indigo Garden, was partially recorded in Massachusetts — it grew out of a 2025 residency at contemporary art museum MASS MoCA.” Check out the track – which is at radio now – here.
