The FADER Premieres Slow Hollows’ “Softer”

The FADER has a stream of “Softer,” a track taken from Slow Hollows‘ new LP Romantic. “‘Softer’ was written in early 2015. It’s primarily meant to represent the absurdity of the things that humans tend to place importance in, and how easy it is to get bogged down by a negative mindset towards all things once loved,” bandleader Austin Feinstein told The FADER. According to the magazine, “Feinstein’s voice sounds kind of like Stephen Malkmus‘s — he uses it gently over noodly guitar riffs and tender trumpets, while conveying some pretty gloomy sentiments.”
