BoingBoing Premieres Rogue Wave’s Pete Townshend Cover

BoingBoing has shared a video from Rogue Wave‘s new Cover Me album. While Pete Townshend’s original version of “Let My Love Open The Door” is a rocker, the veteran indie band have presented a thoughtful take that begins with jangling guitars before morphing into a larger, more psychedelic production. The video, directed and edited by Jim Granato with color effects by Truckee Lynch, features a child singing the song along with members of the band. “The idea for this video has been circling around my brain since we finished tracking it,” Zach Rogue told BoingBoing. “[It’s] a fantasy about what I could tell my younger self if I had the chance.”
