Noisey Premieres Gothic Tropic’s “How Life Works” Video

Noisey has shared a video from Gothic Tropic‘s Fast or Feast. “Where the last single we premiered of hers [“Stronger”] was a timeless little number with a sense of antsy urgency and a killer bassline, “How Life Works” showcases a more mellow vibe. One dappled with sun and accessorized by a fanny pack, and also a sick 60s minty green suit.” Cecilia Della Peruti, the renaissance woman behind the project, told Noisey, “This song is poking fun at my former ‘need to please’ attitude when it came to friendships and romantic relationships. Loving someone who wants to ‘fix’ you kind of sounds appealing, and standing firm in your character and identity takes fortitude. You shouldn’t yield to someone else’s whim.”
