BUST Hires Tacocat’s Emily Nokes
BUST Magazine, which has been a “fierce, funny, and pro-female” force in media for the past two-and-a-half decades, has a new music editor: Emily Nokes, who is also the singer of Tacocat! In an article introducing her to readers, BUST wrote, “She’s smart, she’s feminist, has impeccable taste, and she gives no f*cks about expressing herself, whether it’s through her rainbow locks or her girl-powered music.” Before this, Nokes served as the music editor for Seattle’s alt-weekly, The Stranger, so fans should be confident that she’ll be able to juggle her new duties with her role in the band.
