The Dream Syndicate’s Steve Wynn Talks With The Intelligencer
How Did I Find Myself Here? is The Dream Syndicate’s first album since the 1980s, but it’s been regarded as a rebirth for the band and has garnered major critical acclaim.“This album feels more like our debut,” band leader Steve Wynn told Pennsylvania’s The Intelligencer in an interview. “The material was made as a Dream Syndicate release but it feels like we started from scratch when we created this album. What we did in the past did not have an impact on this album.” According to Wynn, audiences have been appreciative of the new work. “What’s refreshing is that the fans want to hear the new stuff,” he told the broadsheet. “It’s not like we’re feeding them broccoli and they eat that before they get to the junk food or well, ‘the hits.’” Read the full interview here.
