New Music From Imaginary Cities – Going For Adds
This week, we’re excited to be going for adds on music from Winnipeg’sImaginary Cities. Sonically, the music sounds similar to Stars and Metric but with the driving sensibilities of Blondie and the soaring melodies you’d normally hear from Nina Simone. After their debut album, Temporary Resident, received a longlisted nomination for the 2011 Polaris Music Prize, they were invited to open for The Pixies late last year. The group is recording a new album and will be announcing some midwest tour dates soon. Check out the EP and consider it for your adds this week!
