New Single from Ramona Falls – Digital Servicing Only
Ramona Falls are set to release prophet, their sophomore album, on May 1st through Barsuk. Brent Knopf, the creative force behind Ramona Falls, is an original member of Portland’s Menomena. After four full-length albums and three EPs, Knopf decided to part ways with the band to focus on his solo project. “I’m less worried now about being made fun of, than I was before. I can now say things I believe in,” says Knopf. You’ve already heard tracks “Sqworm”and “Spore,” now lead single “Brevony” is being made available. Check out a feature Pitchfork did on the track here. In Ramona Falls you’ll hear dark, chordal elements paired with the “meticulous attention to sonic and compositional details” that Menomena was known for – says Pitchfork. “Brevony” showcases this with it’s layered keys, haunting textures, and stomping riffs. prophet will be digitally serviced next week and going for adds 4/30 & 5/1.
