Ramona Falls songwriter Brent Knopf, formerly of Menomena, takes what his former band crafted in their experiemental pop but emphasizes the dark chordal elements that lurked in their songs. The lead single from the album,“Brevony,” was digitally serviced to you on Friday and carries layered keys, haunting textures, and stomping riffs.
