“Divorce”, the first single from The Daredevil Christopher Wright‘s upcoming full-length, recently premiered on Paste. As is explained in the Paste feature, the Eau Claire trio’s second album takes a turn from their debut, and “Divorce” is a perfect representation of that. The band’s Jon Sunde stated that “with The Nature of Things, we made an intentional effort to focus and tighten the writing.” This is brilliantly clear on “Divorce,” a song that is simple in structure but whose instrumentation offers multiple complex layers.
