MXDWN Reviews Imaginary Cities Temporary Resident

Posted on May 21, 2012

Mxdwn.com recently reviewed Imaginary Cities’ debut album, Temprorary Resident. They call the record “a masterful collection of indie pop, electro, and soul songs that low and coalesce, crossing genres on almost every track.” The review successfully identifies various musical influences incorporated into the album from the building, retro-soul anthem “Say You,” to the soaring pop tune“Hummingbird,” and the driving rock of “Don’t Cry.” Mxdwn.com goes as far as calling the new album a “tour de force of musical composition.” Read the fullImaginary Cities  review here.
