Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends Pitchfork Review

Pitchfork recently gave The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends, the newest collaborative venture for The Flaming Lips, an 8.2/10, praising the album’s diversity of guests and all encompassing sound. With artists spanning from Ke$ha to Bon Iver and Yoko Ono, “Heady Fwends provides as inclusive a congregation of the entire, circa-2012 under-to-overground spectrum as you can muster in a single album.” You can check out the full review of the album here. The record was added by tons of stations including KALX, WVFS, KCSB, KEXP, WMBR, and WUTK. Let’s give The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends a strong move on the chart this week.
