The Flaming Lips at StePhestColbchella ‘012
This past weekend The Flaming Lips joined Grizzly Bear, Santigold, and a pirate costume-wearing Stephen Colbert aboard a former WWII aircraft carrier for the first ever Stephest Colbchella. Pitchfork was on hand to document the whole thing which you can see for yourself here. The Flaming Lips were in full form – giant bubbles and all. Segments of their performance will air this Thursday on The Colbert Report – check local listings for times. The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends continues its reign in the top 20 at CMJ.
