Shatter the Standards gives a “Solid” rating to do+pe = no country for old men, the new collaborative album from the Doors’ John Densmore and Chuck D of Public Enemy and Prophets of Rage. The site’s in-depth review contends that the pair resists the “sweet lull” of a tame late career release, instead opting for novel and hard hitting material in their old age.
