Americana Highways Hails Fruit Bats’ Distinctive Voice
Americana Highways review of the new Fruit Bats LP, The Landfill, highlights Eric D Johnson’s unique and distinctive vocals. He has “style,” the site writes, and on the new album “chiming guitars… surround Eric like so much honey dripping from a spoon.” The site praises the “well-delivered, tuneful” record, drawing comparisons to Bob Dylan, Billy Corgan, Syd Barrett, and others.
