Inara George Chats With Shondaland

Inara George, who is at radio now with Songs of Douglass & Littell, recently did an interview with Shondaland about the new album, her family, and her long career as a member of the hugely successful artpop duo The Bird and The Bee. George has some advice for new listeners: “I’ll look at a Spotify page and see the first four songs of whatever is considered the artist’s hits. I’d encourage any listener, if you like one song of an artist, to explore the entire record to see who they are in their entirety. Sometimes if you’re listening to the Bird and the Bee, you’re falling in love with a cover song — so, maybe you’ll like the original artist as well.
