Stereo Embers Highlights Souled American’s Long-Awaited Return
“Breaking a 30-year silence, Souled American have returned,” writes Stereo Embers in its feature on the band’s new LP Sanctions. Alex Green spotlights the Chicago band’s first new album since 1996’s Notes Campfire, with original members Joe Adducci and Chris Grigoroff continuing their singular musical partnership. The piece points readers toward “Fractured Sun,” “Boom Boom,” and “Everytime,” while tracing the sparse releases that kept the band’s story going between albums. Read it here.
