Slam Dunk Biggest Mover at CMJ – Fearless & CFUV Radio Interviews – CMJ Scene Report

Slam Dunk are getting ready to tour around and down the west coast, recently stepping from their native British Colombia and into the U.S. once again. Jordan from the band recently called into Fearless Radio to talk about Victoria, B.C., and what a tour of the city with them as the guides would be like. They talked about ending 2012 with a tour, beginning 2013 with the vinyl release of their record, and why their vinyl was not ready for their LP release show (hint: it’s The Beatles fault). You can listen to it over here. A little more recently, Jordan, Duncan, and Luke from the band visited CFUV to talk about Welcome to Miami. They spin the entire album and give Victoria weather updates while teaching us what you call it when it’s sunny and raining at the same time. The record has been #1 for 5 weeks in a row at CFUV and you can hear the whole interview here. CMJ asked the band to give a “Scene Report” of their hometown and they reported back with favorite local bands, venues, and after-show hangouts. Check the feature out here.
