Slam Dunk – New Peak at CMJ – Daytrotter Session
The new album from Victoria’s Slam Dunk has stations in both Canada and the US pogoing along to their melodic and manic brand of garage rock. After self-releasing their blistering debut The Shivers, the group was offered assistance by File Under: Music to release their follow-up which reached a new peak, landing at #26 with CMJ! Not bad for a former house party band. The band is on their way home after a west coast tour, which took them as far south as San Diego and included stops at KUCI, KXLU, KZSC, and multiple Mexican restaurants.
