Jason Lytle – Music Video Premiere
Since Dept. of Disappearance came out, Jason Lytle has kept busy visiting NPR‘s Tiny Desk Concert had releasing a music video for track “Your Final Setting Sun”. However, no video has visually represented the album’s setting tone better than the new music video for the song “Somewhere There’s a Someone“. The video shows Lytle singing at a piano in what looks like a home studio. The scene is cut with time-lapse shots of the lonely Montana landscape. Paste premiered the video, and it is a perfect example of the (blissful or somber) solitude that is conveyed on the album.
Jason Lytle is also on tour at the moment, supporting Band of Horses, before he embarks on a headlining tour to Europe in the new year. Lytle, and Band of Horses singer Ben Bridwell collaborated on a cover of the Towns Van Zandt song “Don’t You Take It Too Bad”, which you can listen to here if you’re curious. Tour dates are below:
