Coming Soon: Devendra Banhart’s “Mala” – Going For CMJ Adds 3/18 & 3/19
Tomorrow we will be digitally servicing Devendra Banhart‘s eighth studio album, Mala. Known for his gypsy-freak-folk-pop sound and Southern American styles, his last album, What Will We Be, was critically acclaimed by the likes of Rolling Stone and Los Angeles Times. He has collaborated with fellow musicians including Antony and the Johnsons, Beck, Vashti Bunyan, Os Mutantes, Swans, and Vetiver. The record was featured as an “NPR: First listen” last week which you can still read here. Mala goes for CMJ Adds 3/18 & 3/19.
