The Flaming Lips’ “The Terror” – New Release Date – Album Remixed by Dan Deacon
The highly anticipated album by The Flaming Lips has been delayed for good reason. The Terror, now scheduled for April 16th, will be released in a deluxe silver (no blood this time) double vinyl version, which will consist of a side devoted to a Dan Deacon remix of the entire album. Considering the album is close to 60 minutes, Deacon has some serious editing to do. The group played a couple shows at SXSW where they dedicated one night to their classic Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots and the other to their forthcoming The Terror. You currently have the bubbly, non-album, bonus track “Sun Blows Up Today” available for airplay.
