The Microphones’ “Reissues” – Including “The Glow Pt. 2” – Now Streaming on Pitchfork Advance
The Microphones are reissuing five albums on vinyl: Song Islands; Don’t Wake Me Up; It Was Hot, We Stayed in The Water; Mount Eerie; and The Glow Pt. 2. Pitchfork named The Glow Pt. 2 the best album of the year in 2001, calling it “one of the decade’s finest passion projects, every word a plea, every chord another gust of wind.” Pitchfork is now making the entire album available for streaming this week on its Advance platform.
