The beautifully arranged audio-visual record from Essie Jain has been on the cusp of breaking the Radio 200 charts for the past two weeks. All Became Golden was arranged and conducted by Nico Muhly who has been heralded for his work with Jonsi, The National, Grizzly Bear, and more. Muhly joined Jain and director Natalie Johns on WNYC‘s “Spinning On Air” to speak about the origins of the project and the idea behind having a visual aspect to the album.
