Travis – AV Club & CoS Album Review

After a five-year hiatus, Travis has returned stronger than ever with their newest album, Where You Stand. This album maintains familiar touchstones from previous work, but pushes forward and ventures outside of Travis‘ typical musical zones. According to The AV Club, their sound has shifted from the more raucous vibes of previous albums, Good Feeling and Ode to J. Smith, to a more grown-up, contemplative disposition. Where You Stand‘s resilient essence conveys wisdom on mortality, adversity, and taking control of one’s life. Read the review here.
