Makeshift Prodigy – On Tour – Looking For CMJ Debuts

Looking to break their way into the CMJ Radio 200 this week is Makeshift Prodigy with their six-song EP, Illuminate. The EP is now making its rounds in stations all over the country and is really gaining momentum. This week alone, Makeshift Prodigy saw debuts at KXTR, WDWN, and WHWS. Illuminate’s six songs are emotionally packed, serving as an accurate overview of the variance inherent in Makeshift Prodigy. Lead singer Anthony Bagnara creates in a selfless manner, “We’ll create it. It will have our meaning, but eventually it becomes the emotional property of a fan”. This idea of a communal experience applies to their live shows as well. If you haven’t listened to Illuminate yet, tandem tracks “Chasing Daylight” and “Bittersweet Surrender” are perfect starting points.
