Augustines – “Cruel City” Spinning

In September, we serviced the digital version of Augustines, formerly We Are Augustines, latest single “Cruel City”. We are excited to announce that now a physical copy of the single is making its way to radio stations. “Cruel City” marks the first we’ve heard from the band, since their 2011 debut Rise Ye Sunken Ships. The single has gotten a lot of praise since its digital release. Spin describes the single as, “The scrappy vitality of the Pacific Northwest indie-rock scene meets the type of gruff yet sophisticated rafter-raising you might expect from The National“. The single will be featured on Augustines upcoming self-titled album due out in January. They are currently finishing up their tour with Frightened Rabbit with a show tomorrow night in DC!
