The Black Keys – Going for #1

The Black Keys had a very busy December in 2011. After playing Saturday Night Live for the second time that year – they debuted on the CMJ charts at #7 with their new album El Camino. The album was heralded as a top album of 2011 by many sites and publications including Time Magazine, who called it “an 11-song exercise in garage rock” w/ “the perfect blend of unpolished snarl and soulful croon.” The group just made the cover of Rolling Stone this week & is now looking for chart debuts to regain the #1 spot on the CMJ Top 200.
