The Royal Oui – Going For Adds

The Royal Oui‘s two song EP, Forecast, is also going for adds this week. The EP is the work of married duo Adrienne Pierce and Ari Shine. Both were separately successful songwriters prior to meeting. They didn’t even come together to make music as The Royal Oui until moving from NYC to Vancouver after Hurricane Sandy. Forecast is The Royal Oui’s first EP and serves as a teaser for their full-length album due out in early 2014. The first track, “When You Love Your Mind”, premiered on American Songwriter in August. The Royal Oui‘s second single, “Actual Size”, premiered over at Rolling Stone last week. The song, “…started out as a moody little acoustic number, but it quickly took on a life of its own,” says Pierce. The Royal Oui will be performing at CMJ this year.
