Buxton AllMusic Album Review – Tied for All-time CMJ Peak

AllMusic wrote a glowing review of Buxton‘s LP, Half A Native. The review explains, “while their New West debut was a somewhat wiley [sic] affair that pitted Trevino‘s thoughtful songwriting against mildly chaotic noise bursts and sonic chatter, Half A Native is a far more understated set that leaves some welcome space between the gaps.” The album is also described as “their strongest effort to date.” The full review can be read here, also featuring an album preview.
