Vetiver Talks to Allston Pudding, Plays Morning Becomes Eclectic, Tours

Boston’s Allston Pudding recently posted a longform interview with San Francisco’s Vetiver, also known as Andy Cabic. Vetiver has released six albums since 2002, and interviewer Andy Sears asks Cabic about the processes behind those records and how he was able to collaborate with luminaries such as Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsome, and the Fruit Bats‘ Eric D. Johnson. Go here to learn more.

Vetiver is playing live to support new album Complete Strangers, and one particularly exciting upcoming event is next Thursday, June 25, when the band will perform on KCRW‘s Morning Becomes Eclectic. This will be Vetiver’s second appearance on the venerable program, and it can be streamed live around the world. Tune in here around 11:15 am Pacific Time on June 25, or check it out on 89.9 FM if you’re in or around Los Angeles.
