The Bird and the Bee Hit the Top 10 at  CMJ Radio 200, AllMusic Reviews their Album, Singer Inara George Talks to WYEP

The Bird and the Bee's Recreational Love is surging on the CMJ Radio 200 due to its effervescent sound and solid songcraft. After being the top debut at Radio 200 last week, the record flew to the top of the charts, landing at #9! AllMusic Guide, reviewed the album, giving it it four of five stars. "It's easy to get dazzled by what [singer Inara George and producer Greg Kurstin] achieve," the review states, identifying the duo's "musical wit [and] sly sense of sophistication." Singer Inara George did a call in interview with Cindy Howes of Pittsburg's WYEP 91.3. The interview, which you can hear here, includes snippets of Recreational Love. George and Howes talk about the vocalist's dual musical lives as a pop songstress in the Bird and the Bee and as a member of the folky Living Sisters, and George tells listeners about the creative process that went into making the new LP.
