Stereogum has premiered the lead track of Glint’s new Introvert EP, “While You Sleep.” In its feature, the site describes the song as one that “yearns and careens like a song on the outskirts of something. It’s an emotional, sweeping track that builds from quietly, acoustic moments into huge choruses that burst with fear, longing, and impatience.” The song has been streamed via SoundCloud more than 120,000 times since the premiere – find out what the fuss is about by listening here!
XS Noise has also featured the track here, writing that “‘While You Sleep’ is twofold: while being meticulous and complexly arranged, Glint also accomplish progressive pop sensibilities that encompass the power of spontaneity.” In addition to being the first song on the new EP, “While You Sleep” will also be the final track on Glint’s upcoming full length early next year. We’ll keep you posted with news on that release as well as tour dates. Until then Glint’s Introvert is going for debuts this week!
