St. Germain is Reviewed by the Guardian, Debuts on the CMJ Radio 200

St. Germain‘s Tourist, released 15 years ago, is “easy to listen to and difficult to get out of your head,” writes the Guardian. Now the production pioneer is back, with a self-titled and sprawling new LP, and the Guardian explains in a review how the new record changes up the “French Touch” sound by implementing jazz rhythms and instruments performed by talented Malian players. “Navarre is clearly a conscientious producer with an ear for detail,” the review states, and “the music here is rich indeed.” Read more of the Guardian’s review right here.

St. Germain had a great week on CMJ, making its Radio 200 debut and moving up to #7 and #28 on the New World and RPM charts, respectively. Give the record some spins to help propel it into the top 100, and keep sharing it with world and electronic DJs! And make sure you check out the radio edits from the album that we sent out on October 14, as those provide some shorter versions of a couple key tracks that may fit more easily into your playlists than the full-length versions.
