Fruit Bats, CMJ’s #1 Most-added Artist This Week, Debut Video on Team Coco and Stream Album via KEXP

Absolute Loser, the first release from Fruit Bats since 2011’s #1 CMJ LP Tripper, is being received positively from both new and longtime fans. Hailed as a return to form, the album was the #1 most-added record at CMJ this week, beating out Radiohead and some other great new releases.

Recently, Team Coco premiered the video for “Humbug Mountain Song,” the LP’s galloping, banjo-led second single. Watch the clip below of “a simple woodsman” who “is after the bear who done him wrong,” and ready the feature here.

Absolute Loser, which we sent digitally last week, will be in stores on Friday. In the meantime, fans can listen to the album via streams on several radio stations’ websites, including KEXP, KCSN, OPB, and WXRT. According to the KEXP, “Absolute Loser is a winner.” Listen here.
