Devenda Banhart is on something of a tour of public radio outlets, recently recording segments with NPR‘s All Things Considered, KPCC‘s The Frame, and now APM‘s Marketplace. The Marketplace Quiz is a “money-inspired personality questionnaire,” but Banhart doesn’t spend his time talking about economics. Instead, he shares stories from his earlier performing days, discusses his first jobs, and advocates shoplifting. It’s a good interview – hear it here.
Ape In Pink Marble, Banhart’s ninth studio album, has been in the Top Ten at CMJ for two weeks in a row. Help it move to a new peak this week!
