The So So Glos have always been a socially-conscious band, and that’s why they’ve partnered with the British-based housing and homeless charity Shelter on their current UK tour. According to Clash magazine, the band has made an agreement with venues to give free beer to fans who bring a can of food to the So So Glos’ concerts – the food will then be donated to Shelter, which will distribute it to those in need. The band is also selling signed t-shirts to benefit the charity. Learn more here.
The band is currently in England to promote the release of Kamikaze, their new LP which took the States by storm this summer. Let us know if you need a new download of the album!
