Kuroma’s Hank Sullivant Writes For Relix
“Every single time I have hit a creative stride,” writes Kuroma‘s Hank Sullivant in a recent guest essay for Relix, “it has been during a prolonged period of time living in Athens [Georgia].” In the essay, Sullivant explains his love for what he calls “The Classic City,” even he’s spent a lot of time in other places over the past few years and claims that Kuroma has only played the city twice in the past half-decade. He also writes about his conversion to Catholicism, and how that profoundly impacted his experience while recently touring as a member of MGMT. Read the whole thing here.
Kuroma’s new album, The Dark Horse Rides Again, is informed by Sullivant’s travels and his faith. Check out their video for A Day with No Disaster below!
