The Flaming Lips, Called “Breathtakingly Crazy” by the NY Post, Play Colbert
“The Flaming Lips are still breathtakingly crazy,” writes The New York Post, which recently sent a reviewer to take in a recent performance by the band in New York. “Almost every moment of their one hour, 45 minute set at Terminal 5 on Thursday was a wonderfully vibrant, and often surreal assault on all known senses,” the Post states, “and it probably reached a few unknown ones, too.” Check out the review, which includes a list of the show’s five weirdest moments, here.
The band is currently supporting its new studio LP, Oczy Mlody. Get a taste of their huge and wacky show by checking out a clip from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert of the band playing album track “There Should Be Unicorns.” Watch it below!
