KCRW Premieres Kan Wakan’s “Phantasmagoria Part 1”
KCRW has shared “Phantasmagora Part 1,” which is one of three title tracks on Kan Wakan‘s new three-LP opus Phantasmagoria. “I met Kan Wakan’s Gueorgui Linev a few years ago,” writes the station’s Marion Hodges, and “within a few minutes of beginning our conversation, I realized I was speaking with someone who held a deep passion for all music, in all of its guises and structures and muses of the moment.” This track definitely channels this passion, and Hodges calls it “a sprawling, inviting track.. Be prepared for multiple listens, and some delightfully lucid dreams.” Listen here.
