The Barr Brothers Explain Queens Of the Breakers To WaPo

The Washington Post reports that the process behind The Barr BrothersThe Queens Of The Breakers was neither smooth nor effortless. As the band “raced to finish their third album,” the paper writes, “they had two other deadlines looming. They were renovating a house they had just bought together and Andrew’s wife was due to give birth to the couple’s first child at any moment.” Yet the band, which includes harpist Sarah Pagé as well as brothers Andrew and Brad Barr, persevered, and stole away to a remote cabin in Quebec to re-aquaint themselves with eachother and rediscover their musical spark. The band succeeded, and Brad says he’s “genuinely happy with the record the way it turned out.” Read the full story here and check the band out on tour this week!
