LA Weekly Awards Alex Lilly With “Album Of The Week” Honors

“Everything about this debut album by L.A. indie-pop singer-songwriter Alex Lilly is spellbinding,” writes LA Weekly, which has chosen 2% Milk as its Album Of The Week. The alt-weekly compares Lilly to Kate Bush, Tori Amos, and Lorde; of course, Lilly’s spent time in Lorde’s band along with those of Beck, Ry Cooder, and the bird and the bee. LA Weekly notes, “Lilly’s music is arty and uncompromising, and very much hers.
