Kiyomi‘s new single “High Ladder” is “about the challenges of trying to achieve something,” she says in a recent interview with Neon Music. “I wrote it about my own struggles in achieving goals with my music, but the song to be related to anything that is trying to reach for something higher.” The interview also breaks down some of the Australian indie pop artists’s influences, gets her take on the current state of electronic music, and finds out exactly what she can’t live without.
