Particle Kid‘s new Window Rock was recently an Amped Featured Album of The Week. The site writes, “Often minimalistic and atmospheric, Window Rock finds the artist following his instincts and creating a musical universe that incorporates a bit of Jeff Buckley here, a dibble-dabble of Radiohead there, a subtle pinch of Sonic Youth, and large dollops of… Alt-Rock and Americana influences.” According to Amped, its “scope is large but [bandleader] Micah Nelson manages to hold it together with performances that are both intense and intimate.” Read the review here.
